Terms & Conditions

1. The service. TutorHub is a UK marketplace that lists approved tutors and lets registered students contact them via WhatsApp. Tuition — including scheduling, taster sessions and payment for lessons — is arranged directly between students and tutors. The platform does not book lessons or process tuition fees.
2. Accounts. Students may browse without an account; a free student account is required to contact tutors. Accounts are personal and must not be shared. You must provide accurate information during registration.
3. Tutors. Tutors must complete the application, agree to the safeguarding agreement, and be approved by an administrator before their profile becomes public. Tutors must keep their profile accurate and maintain professional conduct at all times. Suspended or unapproved tutors are removed from public search.
4. Fees. Tuition fees shown on profiles are set by the platform: one-to-one fees are per class; group fees are per student. Taster sessions are free. Lesson payment is agreed directly with the tutor. Platform subscriptions are separate and payable by bank transfer.
5. Subscriptions. Free and premium plans are available for students and tutors. Plans can be upgraded, downgraded, or set not to auto-renew at any time. Subscription fees are collected via the bank details shown at checkout of a plan request.
6. Reviews. Students may submit reviews, which are moderated before publication. Only approved reviews count toward public ratings. Reviews must be honest and must not contain abuse, personal data or spam.
7. Conduct & safeguarding. All users must follow the platform's safeguarding agreement. Harassment, abuse, exploitation or misuse of the platform leads to suspension of the account. Concerns must be reported through the platform's designated reporting channel.
8. Liability. The platform provides introductions only and is not party to the tuition agreement. Tuition quality and suitability are the responsibility of the student (or their parent/guardian where under 18) and the tutor.
9. Changes. These terms may be updated from time to time; continued use constitutes acceptance. Questions: use the contact details on the homepage footer.
